Biography :

One of Scarlett's former colleagues used to joke with her that she truly believed that Murfreesboro was the center of the world. Though, she might not think it is the center, she does feel it is one of the best places in the world to live and raise a family. As a native to the Murfreesboro area, Scarlett has grown to appreciate every detail of this community. She was raised here, she went to college here and is now raising her own family here.

Though Scarlett's career path as a realtor hasn't been conventional, she believes it helps her be a better, more effective realtor. As a quality engineer, Scarlett began understanding the importance of every detail. She learned that what might be minor to some, could be significant to others. As an engineering teacher, she discovered just how important relationships and trust were to those you're trying to help. In both careers she learned the importance of not just communicating, but communicating effectively. Through these experiences, Scarlett has gained an understanding that above all, relationships are what matter to people. Because of this, she will create a relationship with each of her clients. She will be honest and trustworthy, giving them the comfort they desire and she will be clear and concise, giving them the understanding they need. As your realtor, Scarlett is committed to excellence and will do everything she can to make your home buying experience not just the one you want, but the one you deserve. 

Scarlett is married to Jeff Murphy, and has three beautiful boys, Dominic, Nicolo and Luicano. They own Domenico's Italian Deli in downtown Murfreesboro on the square, which Jeff manages. Her parents, two sisters and their families also live in the Murfreesboro area. Her parents, Mike and Gina Lanning, own Rick's Barbecue. Coming from a family of natives and entrepreneurs, Scarlett has grown to appreciate the community she lives in. She has seen first hand the support and love the Middle Tennessee community has to offer, and because of that, she plans to make this area her family's home for generations to come.
